The objective of this project was to create a mailer invitation to the 3-day improvisational comedy festival “Unscripted Eh?” based in Toronto, Canada. I was given the task to develop the name of the event and create an entire branding package including a logo, the color choices and typographic/font choices. Then, I applied the brand to different aspects of the event package including the event booklet, the headliner insert, a poster, and the housing unit.
I wanted the event’s brand to express the comedic atmosphere of the event with exciting, playful colors — attracting the eye of the viewer to attend.
The logo design mimics the mixing colors of the stage lights while the name of the event plays on the Canadian dialect and the nature of improvisational comedy.
